About RuthRuth is a 200-hour Vinyasa-trained yoga teacher, trained at Folk Yoga in San Francisco under Martin Scott. She has completed both Level 1 and Level 2 Rest and Restore® training with Judith Lasater, and continues to deepen her practice through ongoing training in the Iyengar tradition, an approach that emphasizes sustainable mobility, thoughtful alignment, and taking time within each pose.
She is especially drawn to the art of rest and finds deep joy in helping others truly relax. She has a special interest in working with people living with chronic pain, offering practices that prioritize comfort, accessibility, and ease.
Ruth teaches in the Bay Area. She welcomes students at all levels. Beginners, people recovering from injury, people managing chronic pain, and anyone craving more rest and ease in their bodies and lives.
I believe yoga is for every body, especially bodies that are tired, in pain, or in need of deep restoration.
